James Choi, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, followed with a presentation on the firm's specific business models and differentiated strategies. He identified three core advisory pillars:

  • K-Governance Optimization: Preemptive control and management of structural risks.

  • Crisis Response: Providing immediate and multi-dimensional response solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Capitalizing on ‘Social License’—a key to long-term competitiveness—through strategic stakeholder alignment.

Choi highlighted the firm’s commitment to execution, stating, “We will be hands-on partners, operating at the intersection of complex interests to derive practical solutions.”

The event was graced by congratulatory remarks from Young-key Hwang, Chairman of ChildFund Korea, who encouraged the firm’s bold start. Jun-soo Kwon, Chair Professor of Psychiatry at Hanyang University Hospital, further energized the atmosphere with a celebratory toast, expressing high expectations for the new business paradigm proposed by y’s partners.

The ceremony was highly acclaimed for its unique atmosphere, serving as a venue for cultural exchange harmonized with art. James Rhee, the founder of Red Helicopter®, inspired the audience by emphasizing ‘Thriving Leadership’—a vision for leading the world rooted in Korea’s inherent potential. He delivered a powerful performance of his Rock Opera, which featured a modern reimagining of the traditional Korean folk song Arirang. This was followed by a live concert by Duo Miow, consisting of violinist Ye Jin Min and pianist Kevin Chow, whose soulful performance filled the night at Sebitseom with profound emotion.

The event also featured a session to share the results of a survey conducted among attendees regarding the ‘Thriving Korea’ narrative, further enriching the discussion on the nation's future prosperity.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of a survey conducted among the attendees regarding the ‘Thriving Korea Narrative.’ The results identified five core values essential for Korea’s future prosperity: ▲Foresight to anticipate the future, ▲Authenticity to preserve Korea’s unique identity, ▲Innovation to create new value, ▲Responsibility to share achievements with society, and ▲Collaboration to connect with the global community. y’s partners plans to integrate these values into its strategic advisory services to meet the evolving needs of the era.

“This ceremony marks the first step in revealing our true identity,” an official from y’s partners commented. “Together with our partners, we look forward to writing a new history of growth.”
